Pick the better movie, or call it a draw
Built for cinephiles, by a cinephile.
You know that scene in The Social Network where Eduardo writes the Elo algorithm on Mark's dorm window? The one they used to rank people's faces?
Same math. Way more ethical. We're ranking movies, not people.
Here's how it works: you add movies you've watched, then Cinelo starts showing you two at a time. You pick which one you like better, or call it a draw. That's it. Behind the scenes, an Elo rating system (the same one used in chess) crunches the numbers and builds your personal ranking.
No five-star scales. No agonizing over whether something is a 7 or an 8. Just simple head-to-head matchups that slowly reveal your actual taste.
The more matchups you do, the more accurate your rankings get. It's weirdly addictive.

Head to the Rank tab. Two movies show up. Tap the one you like more, or call it a draw.
Your Collection sorts by Elo rating. The more matchups you do, the truer it gets.
